September archive available
I just put up the archive of the September discussions of KOREAN-WAR-L
and apologize for the delay. The script for loading the archives somehow
or another got zapped. Anyway, the discussion is now available at
http://www.ukans.edu/~ibetext/korean-war-l/index.html
May I remind you that, since the archives are threaded - that is, they can
be viewed by discussion thread as well as by time of arrival - it would be
most helpful if you would pay close attention to your subject headers and
make sure that they accurately reflect the content of your posting.
It's the accepted practice that, if a discussion on one topic has led to
discussion of a different topic, a sender will recognize that fact by
placing in his subject header something like - NG means No Good WAS In
Praise of the Citizen Soldier. Those following the new thread should then
adopt the new subject heading.
If you want to say something related to the main discussion but not really
pertinent to it, you might enter something like - TAN In Praise of the
Citizen Soldier.
This is not to produce more grist for historians' mills, but to make it
easier for the public - your grandkids, among others - to be able to learn
something about the Forgotten War, a.k.a, the KPA, from those that knew
about it.
