Communist G-2 re air raids
During WWII in the South Pacific, the Allies set up a coast watcher network to provide information about attacking Japanese air or sea forces. I have read some articles that allude to the Communists having something similar regarding air raids by UN forces.
Is there any evidence to support this?
In studying the rail interdictions carried out by VMA-121, the rail interdiction raids took place around the rail lines leading out of Ambyon time after time. It would seem to me that any time this squadron's planes took off with heavy bomb loads, the "tom toms would start beating warning Ambyon and vicinity to start cranking up their AAA resources.
