| Lee, I think from the description you give it was more likely a PTR antitank rifle which was actually 14.5mm or .57 caliber. They had two of them in WWII -- PTRD and PTRS. They are quite nasty and will penetrate up to 50mm of armor protection in the right circumstances. Cookie Sewell AMPS |
