This incursion was by the X Corps Sp Opns Co (GHQ 1st Raider Co) and "Pounds
Force", a small contingent of the 41 Commando Royal Marines on the night of
12/13 Sep 50. The casualties were all from the Sp Opns Co. About three weeks
earlier the Navy had sent a small US Marine/UDT group into about the exact
same location from the USS Bass on/about 23 Aug 50. They received two
casaulties (wounded) and withdrew.
