American pilots in all theaters of WWII, if not before, used silk maps to help them escape if shot down over enemy territory.
This map though difficult to read identifies the final DMZ line. From studying Marine Corps aviation during the Korean Conflict, I have gotten to be able to determine most of the larger identified areas.
