Re: Korea War II
I am reminded of the great Al Gore every time I open my phone bill. He broke the tie vote on adding all the money to each phone line we have, so that the schools can be given P C's for the little children.
Yet, here in AZ, all I hear about is, the schools need more money so P C's can be purchased. I kept asking myself, where is the money on the two phone lines going each month, other than the federal government.
The office to administer all this windfall was established by a very close friend of Al at over $100,000 a year. When you have a President such as Clinton, who did not recognize any busts of famous men and a guy like Al as the Vice President, I knew we were in for some trouble along the way.
At least Bush did put on a uniform, even if he was not in supply or as a reporter in Nam, then asked to be sent home as Gore did so he could go to a Divinity School, except he never went, but it got him out of Nam. Clinton fled the country.
The Clinton/Gore years are dark pages in the history books as far as I am concerned. Bush as yet has to establish a legacy as he is only in office a short time, but time will tell if he is to be praised or scorned.
We are all entitled to our opinions, and that is mine.
