| Sandy, There are some comments to that effect in the book on USMC 1st MAW in Korea, as it cites how pitifully understrength both the MAW and 1st Marine Div were at the time -- the div had 7700 out of a wartime TO&E strength of 25,000, according to the retired general (Marine, natch) who wrote it.
