I know the Marines were in Korea, but you may find this hard to believe and that is, in my year there, on the lines, I never saw a Marine anywhere.

I was with the 5th RCT of the 24th Division and it could have been the Marines were always west of us, but I am not sure.  I saw many U N troops all over the place, but never a Marine.  I always thought that was strange.

Were the Marine units pulled to the rear in 1951 or what?  Anyone know?
