| I must say that Marines had the best Marine jokes of anyone. I had the pleasure to work with three CT Marine NCOs in Berlin and they had a ton of them. Q: What's the Marine word for "airplane"? A: (pointing up) UH! UH! UH! The same Marine who told me that one recounted a story about when he left the NSG section onboard the USS Saratoga. They gave him a going away gift "specially crafted for Marines." He opened it up and found a telegrapher's mill (a typewriter that only prints in capitals) and found it had only one key. Rolling in a sheet of paper, he pressed the single key. It printed one word: "DUH" The Navy felt that was all Marines needed to report anything...
