As I remember, it was "Finochios," and the place was oriented towards those
of the third sex. There was a bar on Georgia Street in Vallejo (or as we
called it Valley-Jo) that had an advertisement in its window with two photos
side by side. One photo was of a man, and another was the same person in
female drag at "Finochios." Wasn't that in the International Settlement
reception upon return to the States was at Pinoccios (sp?) in San Francisco,
when the Head Waiter informed us that they do not serve men in uniform.
We didn't whine, we just said,"Fuck you" and left.
