Re: Cabines
Speaking of the Carbine. In late 51 or early 52 we were visited by the
French General in charge in Viet-Nam or French Indo China as it was then
called. He was complaining about his local troops not being able to carry
the regulation French Army rifle or the American M-1. Just too damn heavy.
We shipped him a boat load of the Carbines that no body seemed to want in
Korea.
