Good post. I find very few people wearing poppies these days on what used to be called Armistice Day. Since they changed it to Veteran's Day the poppy has seemed to lose its significance. Its good to see one on someone's lapel these days. I'd be willing to bet that very few young peope know of the significance of the poppy, and in my opinion it's a sad commentary on the last few generations' recognition of our history.
