In Yokosuka the destroyers tied up side by side at the Dog Floats in the
harbor. Then the "M" boats would make the circuit of the harbor picking up
liberty parties, and others, and take them to Fleet Landing. At midnight we
would gather in groups at Fleet Landing waiting to be called away to the "M"
boat going to our ship.
