You want to carry something heavy up and down the hills of Korea? You should have tried carrying the receiver to the 50 MG. The barrel was carried separate from the receiver and each man would trade off on the receiver after a time. My left shoulder is lower than my right from carrying that gun. When I look back at that war, I find it hard at my present age to realize I went through what I did.
