Keith, I fought against both: The Chinese were well trained, well lead, brave, and humane- they generally treated prisoners rather well, at the Chosin Reservoir, they allowed us to go onto the ice to rescue wounded who had been left behind, w/o being fired upon. The NK's on the other hand,were just the opposite: They would often break and run when pressured, They did incredibly stupid things: At Yongdongpo, they marched an entire Battalion of infantry and and a platoon of tanks into our lines w/o knowing where our MLR was located- they were anniliated to a man. The NK's went out of there way to torture and mistreat prisioners, they executed hundreds of prisoners and untold amount of civilians. Lee
