We have a lonely litte outpost here. All of us except jewelz are getting long in the tooth. We were returning to the ship in rubber rafts, after a raid behind enemy lines just before the Inchon invasion. The machine guns, which had just driven us off the beach were still firing at us. The idiot colonel who was in charge of the mission called the boats together, turned on a flashlight, and attempted to call the roll. While we were still in range of those guns! There are no machine guns here, and no flashlights. So I am going to attempt to call the roll. Sound off with your screen name, rank, and serial number. Archie, corporal, RA 18 361 152
