Many do not know it, but late last year, Joe Fosse had his MOH in his bag as he went through flight screening at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix.

The idiot checking the bag as it went through the monitor, would not let Fosse take the medal with him to West Point, NY where he was to speak.

He was also refused to take a key chain containing a cartridge that had been deactivated, as well as a bullet minus the casing.  It had been given to Fosse by Heston of the NRA.   That was never returned.

I wish I had been there when this all took place, as I am sure I would have been arrested.   So much for being a leading ace of WW II.  26 planes shot down with his Wild Cat.

Fosse was told he had to check the MOH if he wanted to fly.
