The skin on my hands is dry and scaly in the winter, but no numbness.
The first few winters after coming out of Korea, my hands would ache when they
were cold. But now I experience no real pain from the cold. I think it is the
fifty-three winters we have had since that bad one that we survived that may be
causing problems. We don't know how old folks should feel because we never have
been old before.

I have the same problem cracking, peeling.
flaking. I am now using an oitment called Fingers Skin cream ReliOn is the tm
name. It is over the counter cream and works for me. My fingers crack till
they bleed and hurt like the devil. Put it on every night and it really helps.
Don,t know of a cure guess it is old age and lots of abuse to
hands.
