I think we've cycled thru that one before:
there's no English geographic term "East Sea" with any standard meaning. The
Korean word for Sea of Japan happens to translate literally to "East Sea" in
English, so does the Japanese word for "Pacific Ocean". Neither changes the
fact that the English terms are "Sea of Japan" and "Pacific Ocean"
respectively. I wonder is this going to be brought up reguarly?
