The N.Koreans murdered many American Prisoners John, as many as a hundred at a time in the same manner you describe.Many were from the 24th who were ill prepared for what they were expected to do.

Wonder when it will come out about how the NK and CCF treated there prisoners.  I saw first hand what was done to 3 members of the 24th INf. DIV.   There hands were tied with como wire in front of them, shot under the chin and the bodies tossed into a river, where I found them.  Also found two more up on the river bank.  They were wearing the shoulder patch of the 24th.   We did get even for about a week.
