C'mon Bob, don't ridicule the man. He asked a
perfectly straightforward question about wearing of the Ike Jacket and Woolen
ODs. I'm like you regarding the suspenders as the only suspenders I
remember seeing were those worn by BAR men and their assistants who needed the
suspenders to help carry the magazines and maybe a couple of other uses. I
did have a pair issued to me to wear with a pair of rubberized fatique pants
during the Spring of '52 but I soon got rid of those hot things. They even
had a button or two for each cuff to keep out the snow/ice.
But Dress ODs with suspenders, no way.
