Before y'all get your backs up about "Limeys" let me say I went ashore one
night with about 15 tough Limey Commandos. I had a deep respect for them. They
called us "Yanks."

HAHAHAHA. A guy with suspenders would be laughed out of any barracks I
was ever in. I think some Limeys wear them with their uniforms, though.

Thank you all for your
comments. I recently but a Ike jacket that fits great but it kept
riding up over the belt when I wore it. I even tried to pull the pants
up a little higher and tighten the belt but that got to be a bit much.
Were suspenders ever used with the wool dress pants? There are buttons
inside the dress pants.
