Re: Looking for a Little Help....

Hi Cookie:

Thanks for responding to my posting.  A few minor corrections;  The aircraft name was Wrights Delights/They Chosen Flew.  Heres a photo;  http://home.att.net/~myron.sestak/korea/wrights.html
TFR 506 indicates that Guard Senior Lieutenant Dobrovichan actually shot down the aircraft.  A copy of that is available on my site at:  http://home.att.net/~myron.sestak  Do you have information that may indicate otherwise?  Thanks again.  Take care.

Regards,

Subject: Re: Looking for a Little Help....

I checked my records on this and what came up was this:

B-29-55-MO
Serial Number 44-86392
"Wrights Delights/The Chosen Few"
345 BS 98 BG
Pilot Sawyer

Shot down by 147 GIAP 133 IAD (PVO) 64 IAK
(either Major Shkodin, commanding 3rd Squadron, or Senior Lieutenant Kondrashov, pilot, 2nd Squadron)

Neither of the pilots has any bio data out there so there are no Soviet histories available in their open press as to what happened to this aircraft.
