Alas, that was one item which appeared to be mixed into the chapters and not
set aside as a special one.
The reason for the lack of Soviet Communist "pumpitude" is that this was a
study prepared for the General Staff in 1954-55 according to the foreword.
Ergo since it was not for external discussion it didn't need the betterment
normally seen in their press releases of the day.
The interesting thing is that most of the assessment of US and ROK forces
comes from intelligence, mostly SIGINT, of them at the time. Unlike the US
and other nations which separate it from regular intelligence, the Soviets
did not and the researchers had full access to it.
