 To clarify :  While not in the  NG  I was at Fort Riley , Ka.  I was sent to the 45th ID at Camp Polk , La  as a filler to bring the Division up to combat strength 
and shipped out with the Thunderbirds to Japan and 
 Korea .                      Jerry
