I read the article.  The hill he visited was not Reno.
 Reno was in western Korea, near Panmunmjom, in the
sector the Marines moved to during a realignment of
the 8th Army front line units.  

The hill (759) he visited for the article was in
eastern Korea, near the Punchbowl.
