If you haven't read it, obtain a copy of T.R. Fehrenbach's THIS KIND OF WAR. There is an excellent description of the 2ID's withdrawal through "The Gauntlet," Nov 30, 1950 -- pages 216 thru 236 (Chapters 20 & 21.)
