Today started out with six messages on my email
screen concerning Kunu-ri Pass. Yesterday I must have had a dozen over the day.
Most of the messages were abbreviated and meaningless unless the recipient was
"in the loop." When the initiator of these emails posts them on the Korean
War List without regard to interests of subject, they end up going to
everybody. This clutters up computer space with little or no
purpose.
My I suggest, at the risk of having to endure the
explosive ire some good folk, that messages be sent directly to those who
respond to initial postings rather than everybody on the "list."
Having served during the Korean War, I share your
interest in the subject. But it would be nice if respondents to postings kept in
mind that the way they address their responses may inadvertently become a
nuisance to a lot of people on the fringe of a particular
subject.
Thanks for giving consideration to the
thought.
