I agree .. it is interesting that in the Phillipines
he did not listen to potential events and what he
got planned poorly.

There was a program on TV about US Military Academy and
part of it was about MacArthur.

Despite his thorough training he had debilitating Self Esteem issues.
Most steming from his Parental up bringing.
The program indicated that neither parent was warm and loving.
He basically grew up empty inside which explains some of his decision
making.
