Re: Book on 5th RCT

Vincent, if you want to be a lawyer, do whatever it takes to be one. You don't get a lot of second chances in this world.

Subject: Book on 5th RCT

Hello all:

I bought a book by an ex-U.S. Marine whose brother-in-law or wife's uncle was KIA while in the U.S. Army's 5th RCT.  It's in storage right now, but after I finish up an American Political Thought class next week, I'd like to at least review, and hopefully read enough.  However, we're also talking to my cousin's immediate family (his two sisters are all that's left of it), and he was supposedly in the 5th RCT, Louis Bartning.  (As I've probably said too much, I'm the next Bartning male down the line after my dad.)

I met Louis's dad several times, and he passed away in his 90s in the 90s, "my great uncle Louie." (I'm not sure of the spelling...)  However, school starts again in a couple of weeks, but I'm not sure I'm going to attend.  Hopefully, I will.  I'd like to finish up ASAP and go to the law school of my choice...

It's a hard-bound book BTW...

Thanks,

Vincent

(who's temporarily off the WWII list BTW)
