Re: What is "MiG Alley"?

Keith,
          No Sweat
I pick-up on things from the list and go looking.
Last night i put a request into Maxwell AFB on their information about  the subject, sometimes i receive  information form them in a very short time, but again i have had to wait three months. When received here will forward.
If looking for Air Force info type the following in,click on top web site, then scroll to bottom and at left side is an E-Mail address ,use the top form for your request.

Thank you.  The speed of sound at sea level is 760 mph; it decreases at higher altitude (e.g. I think it's 660 mph at either 20,000 or 30,000 feet, I forget which).
