This is interesting..
I am sure Stalin did more then provide Air
support.
This begs the question about other involvement from
ground troops the Russians provided.
Such as tank
commanders, military advisors, leadership structure, munitions,
cannons, anti-aircraft guns, especially Radar
Controlled anti-aircraft guns and
cannons.
Was their any Navy equipment or
submarines?

1950, a Sgt. from the 5th RCT USA, looked into a knocked out T-34 and to his
surprise, he was looking down at a dead Russian in full uniform.
He removed some of the emblems from the uniform as he could not lift the body
out by himself.
He turned in the items at the rear and that was the
last he ever saw them or heard about his find. Up until a few years ago,
that Sgt. was still alive, as he wrote about the tank in one of the Assn
newsletters.
