I suspect that Clark wrote THE SECRETS OF INCHON for the benefit of his
family, not for publication, thus added a little "color." I say this
because the MS didn't surface until after his death and then only when
there was an article in the United States Naval Institute's PROCEEDINGS
about the mission. His son contacted the author, Thomas Fleming, to see if
there might be someone interested in publishing Clark's account. Mr.
Fleming is a good friend of Bill Butterworth (W.E.B. Griffin) and with
Bill's help, got Putman to publish.
