Welcome to the list. And thanks for the update on yourself. May surprise you but there are two guys on the list who spent time on Ch'o-do and/or other islands during the war, myself being one of them, but leaving several months before you got there. I was with 8th Army G-3 Miscellaneous Group, 8085th AU, the unit that established Leopard and the partisan Donkeys on the west coast islands in Feb 1951, then later worked intelligence operations from islands on both coasts after the 8240th AU absorbed the Miscellaneous Group in Dec 1951. The other guy was a crashboat skipper but I'll let him identify himself if he wishes.
