It is quite possible that
you might have picked up Winchester-Western .45-70 Cartridges, in Korea. Almost
every type of firearm ever manufactured was recovered, in Korea, during the
period 1950-53, I saw 2 S & W Cal.44 Russian revolvers & ammunition. The
S & W Cal.44 cartridge was also filled with black powder. These obsolete
weapons may have been in a museum, or in a private collection. The Japanese
occupation forces didn't allow Koreans to have firearms, so the ownership will
