That's what struck me as interesting: many foreign students
trying to get information about the Korean War. I'll bet most of the
students throughout the world today don't know the heroic effort made
by Americans in this war. The lives, treasure, and honor that
we gave so generously of has finally begun to sink in to many younger
minds. Let's hope it keeps up and that you have a great celebration
for a job well done when you hit 1 million!
You should write a press release and contact some firm that
mails your release--email--for a small fee--$50/$75 total to 5 plus services--of
the top wire services. You want targeted news distribution and media
monitoring. "Get the word out" to the media ? newspapers, magazines,
business websites like Yahoo! and CBS, plus wire services like Reuters, and The
Associated Press. And...don't forget the news placement in major search
engines! Have your site webmaster add new HTML meta tags in order to make
your site one of the first called up when anything following "Korean...." is
typed into the search box. Check your HTML title and add newer "keywords"
there--no more than 25 say. That also will help tremendously. PR is
important! If Coke and Hospitals have to do it--not to mention gasoline
companies--why not <KOREAN-WAR-L@listproc.cc.ku.edu>?
You've got the credentials and the facts. Good luck.
