I remember a ROKAF F-51 squadron operating out of K-18, Kangnung, in 1951. It was "advised" by a U.S.A.F. captain who was shot down a mission the day before he was due to rotate. Understand he survived and came out in Big Switch but don't know for sure.

And another question: Did ROKAF ever get any jets in the air during the war? Or did those come later?
