Subject: Re: Turkish Brigade
During my tour in Korea ( Jan '53 - Apr '54) I heard many stories of the
bravery and ferocity of the Turks in battle. My outfit, an element of the Army
Security Agency, monitored the front line radio communications of the enemy.
The Chinese feared the Turks and their radio talk referred to them as Red
Devils.

I'll
second that , up and down the line , the stories of the fighting Turks were
parised .
