How come even Congressman Duke Cunningham could not get the
radio transmissions, from what ever agency held them, to identify
the Mig17 he shot down.
Likely misfiled or accidentally wiped. The equipment and techniques back
then were primitive (manual and thus prone to human error) compared to what
we do nowadays. A lot of data simply got screwed up.
