Thanks for the comments. I am sure that when people find out how things work in the "Black" world -- e.g. undercover or covert intelligence operations -- many would be upset at what happens. They would also be upset at how indifferent many of the "handlers" can be with their charges, or how the charges may be a bit more independent and free-lance than is good for them. There are tons of historical documents about that sort of thing that have come out in recent years, and from what you are saying the sad demise of "Pete" Fernandez may be another one.
I for one would be interested but agree that many others would be upset and feel he is being unfairly defamed. I think your proposal is probably the best course of action.
