I recall that my first day on the MLR ( my 2nd day in Korea ) it was 5 degrees , that was in early Dec 1951 . I recall that because my CO just sent me a copy of a book that he wrote and he mentioned that in the book . I guess he knew I just know it was dang cold .

That sounds pretty bad.  I imagine the summers are hot and humid too.  How cold did it get?
