Note - the asterisk (*) indicates that the first number signifies serviceable aircraft, the second number unserviceable aircraft.
((TRANSLATOR'S NOTE: The last numbers - "20, 50, 151 FAD" - are actually Soviet fighter aviation divisions - 28 IAD, 50 IAD and 151 GIAD. These were
put into the text by the original authors without such identification. What they do provide is probably the first actual indications of the actual strength of Soviet
fighter aviation within the 64th IAK during the Korean air war. Also the numbers for the other units - all Chinese formations, as there is growing evidence that no
Korean formations took part in the air war after the fall of 1950 other than the night raider units - differ from published Chinese sources. The Chinese PLAAF
rotated its divisions into and out of the Korean theater in order to gain experience for its pilots, and thus this gives a better picture of the operation strength of the
MiG formations in Korea than any other source up to this point in time.))
